If you like big monsters youll like this deck. But if you like REALLY REALLY big monsters youll LOVE this deck!
1. Mana: This deck has the most efficient mana production of any deck I've ever built. All of the small, low cost creatures are efficient mana producers such as the numerous Wood Elves to help you get the forests you need to strengthen Traproot Kami or Allosaurus Rider or you can suck the mana from mana producing creatures like Elvish Abberation, Fyndhorn Elder, or Vine Trellis.
2. Bring out the Big Guns: In this deck, with the right opening hand, you could end up with 10 mana by turn 5! So you can start pumping out the big guns. This deck has the creature with the highest standard attack of any creature in magic: Krosan Cloudscraper and has more than enough mana to sustain his upkeep costs.
Then, pave the way to victory with Krosan Drover and Kurgadon. With both Krosan Drovers out, amazing game winners like Thorn Elemental will cost only 3 mana! And with the ability to drop all of these CMC 7s for teh discounted cost of 3, Kurgadon will get a major boost!
3. Crush you way to Victory!: Once you have a big army of 6/6 and up creatures, finish off you opponent with Lure by enchanting a creature you control, all of your opponents creatures will have to block it, forcing a direct hit with all of the big monsters you have in play! INSTANT VICTORY! Copy the same effects with the instant card Bloodscent or dazzle your opponent with the unmatchable might of the ulmighty Ancient Ooze and using Fangreen Pathcutter or Roughshod Mentor Give your hulking army trample and crush your oppoenent to pieces!
The deck does have some weaknesses. It has a lot of trouble against flying creatures which is why I added Wing Snare and Giant Spider but still if the opponent gets out a really good creature or an army of creatures with flying this deck is defenseless. So I recommend adding cards like Goliath Spider, Raking Canopy, or Jungle Weaver to increase the defense against the air invaders.
And for even more efficient mana production, I recommend Mana Reflection of you have one, I don't, nor do I have teh flying stoppers above.
Please feel free to mod this deck and/or comment here and discuss it
