I'm somewhat confused with this whole Twilight hack thing and the term "homebrewing." Is it similar to jailbreaking an ipod? Is it dangerous? Can it brick your Wii? What kind of special things can you do with a homebrewed Wii? How can I get a copy of Twilight Princess for Wii without having to go out and buy it?

If anyone who knows about homebrewing please help me out.

I have questions that need answers!!!!!!!! ARGH! 2 pale Question

well actually homebrewing your wii wont brick your wii i have done it myself and my pretty wii still fine lol
anyways homebrwing your wii will allow you to play game emulators play dvds listen to music play free wiishop channels and the best thing ever use cheat codes on the wii
anyways guru if you need help installing the homebrew i will be happy to help you out ^_^
ps i know alot about homebrew so ask away lol

hmmm, interesting. I heard that during an update they can brick ur wii. How long have u been homebrewed.

well the update doesnt brick the wii it just disable the dvd and the free channels feature thats all you can still install homebrew is safe
i been homebrewing for awhile i useally use it for the codes and to watch dvd i would recommend downloading it is really fun Very Happy

the only reason I got my wii the homebrew via twilight hack is so I could play my imported games since one of nintendos updates made the wii freeloader useless making me waste $30 on it Crying or Very sad and I like playing some emulators on it

Well the hack does seem cool but I've jailbroken my iphone and I know homebrewing is similar to that but I kept running into problems like the iPod mode stopped working and wouldnt show any of my songs etc so after the 6th time rejailbreaking the darn thign I decided to stop trying and just play the legal game.

Plus I'm still afraid of the bricking scenario, my phone gettign bricked is one thing but my wii, now that would be completely devistating I would have to commint suicide!

Anyways I may sound like a broken record but my signs are pointing to no homebrew because of all the trouble I have had with jailbreaking.

Also I dont have TP
